Job Description

a trainee in a ship's engineering department whose duties include assisting with engine room maintenance, taking logs and soundings, performing cleaning and greasing, monitoring machinery, participating in safety drills, and learning to operate various ship systems under the supervision of a licensed engineer. Their responsibilities focus on gaining hands-on experience and knowledge to progress within the marine engineering field by meticulously following instructions.
