About the role

AMA Computer College Inc. is seeking an experienced and dedicated Librarian to join our team in Caloocan City, Metro Manila. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the college's library and information services, ensuring students and faculty have access to the resources they need to succeed.

What you'll be doing

  • Cataloguing and organizing the library's collection of books, journals, and digital resources
  • Providing reference and research assistance to students and faculty
  • Developing and implementing educational programs and workshops to promote information literacy
  • Collaborating with faculty to ensure the library's collection meets the needs of the curriculum
  • Maintaining and expanding the library's digital resources and online presence
  • Supervising and training library staff to ensure efficient operations
  • Researching and evaluating new technologies and resources to enhance the library's services

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in a librarian or library management role
  • Strong knowledge of library cataloguing, classification, and information management systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff
  • Proficiency in using library-related software and digital resources
  • Ability to work collaboratively and lead a team of library staff
  • Passion for education and a commitment to providing high-quality library services
