Job Description

• Manages the lending and returning of books, including proper shelving of books
• Assists in planning, implementing, and evaluating the library program of the school, prepares guidelines and procedures for the library's operations
• Cataloging of books, selection, ordering, accessioning, periodicals, government documents, and other materials
• Researches requests for information by users, assist patrons in selection and location of books and materials
• Coordinates with the College Dean, Principal, Coordinators, Registrar, and Library Committee on the standards, CHED requirements, instructional and research needs of the administrators, faculty, and students
• Prepares and completes statistical reports; supports, implements, and enforces department policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or Information Science or Bachelor of Science in Education/Arts Major in Library Science
• Master's Degree in Library Science
• Valid and Updated License as a Registered Librarian (RL)
• At least 1-year of working experience related to this field
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and confident handling different types of library systems
• Has good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
• Amenable to work onsite in Camarin, North Caloocan City (5 mins away from Fairview Terraces)
