About the role

ZC KINGS MANPOWER COOPERATIVE' is seeking an experienced Wine Steward to join our team in Pasay City, Metro Manila. As a full-time Wine Steward, you will be responsible for managing the wine service, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintaining and updating the restaurant's wine inventory, placing orders, and liaising with suppliers
  • Providing recommendations and pairing suggestions to guests, showcasing your extensive wine knowledge
  • Serving wine professionally and ensuring proper glassware, temperature, and presentation
  • Training and supervising the wait staff on wine service and etiquette
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest wine trends and educating the team accordingly
  • Assisting with wine-related events and tastings
  • Ensuring the wine cellar is well-organised and properly maintained

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 years of experience as a Wine Steward or Sommelier in a high-end restaurant or hotel
  • In-depth knowledge of wine varietals, regions, and production methods
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional wine service and customer experience
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
