About the role

WiseCloud Inc. is seeking a talented Data Engineer / DevOps to join our dynamic team. This is a casual/Full time role based for a client in Sweden. Our office is Taguig City, Metro Manila.

Assignment Description

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with solid AWS expertise to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines on AWS, turning requirements into maintainable and reusable code while ensuring automation of processes such as CI/CD pipelines, testing, and data quality. You will collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders, contribute to solution design, and, following DevOps practices, share responsibility for developing, testing, deploying, and running solutions effectively.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Redshift Data Warehouse development
  • Ability to conceptualize complex technical issues
  • Ability to interpret data within a business context
  • Strong motivation, collaborative mindset, result orientation, and structured way of working
  • Hands-on experience with AWS data technologies (S3, Python, IAM, AWS Glue, AWS Athena, Spark, Redshift, Airflow)
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

It is considered meriting if you have experience in data modelling for Data Warehouses, industry knowledge within banking/finance, familiarity with Oracle RDBMS and Informatica, and experience with agile frameworks, preferably SAFe.
