The Role: North America Data Steward Technical Data Analyst (TDA)

The NAM Data Steward TDA is responsible for managing activities involving North American Data Steward workflows and deliverables around data quality and data governance within the NAM Customer Master Data Management (CMDM) program. The TDA will be responsible for developing, supporting, and managing the team's data analytics activities using Alteryx, Alteryx Gallery & Scheduler and Tableau.     The TDA will also perform data cleansing, data de-duplication, and data quality corrections as needed to support the NAM Data Steward Team.   The TDA will be working USA working hours (approx. 8am to 5pm EST)

The North America Data team works closely with Sales Operations, Data Governance, and Global Solutions to manage NAM CMDM.  This includes supporting CMDM business processes, implementing new data programs, data analysis management, and driving data governance across multiple business units of Schneider Electric.  This may also include design, testing, and implementation of enhancements to the NAM CMDM programs. The TDA must be capable of offering new ideas along with being creative in solving complex data analytic challenges. 

What will you do?

Manage the existing Alteryx data modules currently being used (currently 40+)Build new Alteryx modules to manage data quality programs that support NAM Sales Operations and Data Governance initiatives Manage Alteryx programs published in GalleryManage Gallery Scheduler programsTrack data quality trends on account/contact creation and duplicate data creation rates.Track the volume of data cleansed from monthly Alteryx reports.Use API tools to validate customer master data addresses with UPS/USPS databases.Build/Run Ad-Hoc data quality modules in Alteryx as neededPublish weekly/monthly data reports to Tableau Email weekly/monthly/as needed data reports to Customer Care team leadership De-duplicate customer master data and/or fix Data Quality Checks.Perform data cleansing in various Schneider ERPsSupport/train other team members on Alteryx and Tableau. Support design, testing, and implementations on CMDM enhancements

Who would be successful?

Must have Alteryx Advanced Certification and be a Tableau Certified Data Analyst1-3 years of data steward or analyst experience with an associated degree, or certificationExperience working with a plusAn analytical person with experience including reading, analyzing, making decisions and solving problems based on data exports from SQL and other data platforms. Experience in data analysis with SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, and/or other data management systems. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs with expertise in Excel.Have an aptitude for learning and working in new data analytic solution/toolsTime and data management skills are essential to analyzing and managing the large volume of data.Strong ability to cooperate and work in multicultural environment and work autonomously.Proficient with English language (writing, speaking, and reading) proficiency Able to function in a new project with changing parameters in a fast pace and reactive environment
