Job Summary:

The Odoo Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business applications using the Odoo ERP platform. The role involves customizing existing Odoo modules, developing new features to meet business requirements, and ensuring seamless integration with third-party systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Python, Odoo framework, and relational databases, coupled with an understanding of business processes such as sales, inventory, accounting, and HR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement new modules, features, and workflows in Odoo.
  • Customize and extend existing Odoo applications based on business needs.
  • Integrate Odoo with other systems and third-party applications using APIs and web services.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing Odoo modules.
  • Participate in requirements gathering and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Perform data migration, version upgrades, and deployment management.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and process flows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Business Analysts, Project
  • Managers, and QA Testers to ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Provide end-user support and training for Odoo-related functionalities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience developing and customizing Odoo applications.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, XML, and Odoo ORM framework.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Linux, and Git version control.
  • Familiarity with Odoo development best practices, module structure, and deployment processes.
  • Experience in API development and third-party system integration is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of business processes such as Accounting, Inventory, Sales, HR, and Manufacturing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with or Odoo Enterprise Edition.
  • Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Basic front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks like jQuery or ).
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
