Job Description:FINANCIAL REPORTINGPreparation of monthly and year-end financial reportsGENERAL/FINANCIAL ACCOUNTINGMaintenance of books of accounts

Recording of transactions in QB, month end journal entries, liquidation of cash advances, adjusting entries, and other required journal entries.Preparation and analysis of required schedule of accounts to support financial statements

Reconciliation of intercompany accounts

Daily and monthly reconciliation of bank accounts

Monthly accrual of expenses

Maintenance of Asset RegistersPreparation and uploading of files for payroll creditingFINANCE STAFF SUPERVISIONSupervise functions and activities of AP and AR Accountants and Finance Admin Support Assistant. Appraisal of staffBIR TAX RETURNSPreparation of required monthly and quarterly BIR tax returns and annual reportorial requirements (EWT, VAT, ITR, Inventory List, Alphalist, etc.)Filing of tax returns via EFPSMaintenance of filed returns. EXTERNAL AUDITCoordinate with External Auditor in compliance with Annual BIR and SEC RequirementsSubmission of required schedules of accounts, returns, reports and other documents for auditBIR EXAMINATIONCoordinate with BIR examiner to comply with BIR examination requirements.

Job Requirements:Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.5-8 years accounting experience and with 5 years in supervisory position involving finance/accounting. CPAKnowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including

Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.

Knowledge in taxation law and other accounting standards. Must have strong initiative and high tolerance for stress. Ability to guide and support junior staff in their professional development.

Should have good communication skills and an effective team player. A high degree of computer literacy is required, with effective skills in MS products desired (MS Office and other Accounting Software)
