Business Unit

Qoala Retail Partnerships includes Qoala Gadget Protection which focuses on offline retail stores to distribute insurance protection products for the consumer durables which the retail stores sell to customers. For customers, we provide comfort from the start of policy purchase with a digital policy sent instantaneously via e-mail as well as a digital claim journey. For retail stores, we provide support through our offline sales team as we know their success is our success.

Summary Of The Job
You'll be a driving force in expanding our retail presence and boosting sales of our device insurance products. You'll be a key link between Qoala and our retail partners, working both directly with electronics retailers and leading a team of Partnership Associates to ensure successful onboarding and ongoing account management. Your focus will be on building strong relationships, driving product adoption, and ultimately increasing same-store sales.

Responsibilities

  • Direct Retail Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key personnel at electronics retail stores.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Partnership Associates, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective execution of onboarding strategies and account management.
  • Onboarding Execution: Oversee the onboarding process for new retail partners, ensuring a smooth transition and successful integration.
  • Key Account Management: Guide your team in developing and implementing key account management strategies to drive product sales and increase same-store sales performance.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of partnership initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, operations) to ensure alignment and effective execution of partnership strategies.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with retail partners to promote Qoala's products and services and ensure long-term collaboration.

Requirements

  • Proven experience: Proven in a partnership management, business development, or sales role, preferably within the insurance or retail electronics industry.
  • Strong relationship building skills: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills: Ability to effectively communicate and present information to both internal and external audiences.
  • Analytical and data-driven: Proficiency in analyzing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Results-oriented: Strong drive to achieve targets and deliver results.
  • Strategic thinking: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
