Bizmates, one of the Leading Business English Schools in Japan, is expanding its IT team in Alabang, Muntinlupa. We are seeking a skilled Software QA Manager to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage QA Engineers across multiple projects.
  • Oversee QA governance reporting and tracking across PH-JP projects.
  • Define and implement QA policies, processes, and quality standards.
  • Manage the Software Test Life Cycle (manual and automation), ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and KPIs.
  • Drive automation and regression suite initiatives using Playwright.
  • Plan capacity and allocate resources for QA Engineers across multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with Software Delivery Managers (SDMs) and Project Managers (PMs) to align QA work with delivery timelines and project priorities.
  • Work closely with the QA Leader in Japan to align on business-oriented goals.
  • Provide QA dashboards, KPIs, and reports to stakeholders.

Mentor and evaluate QA Engineers; identify and deliver training needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 10 years in Software QA, with 5 years in automation and 5 years in leadership/management.
  • Proven experience in web and mobile application testing.
  • Strong background in manual testing, test planning, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Playwright test automation.
  • Solid programming knowledge in JavaScript.
  • Experience in API, backend, cross-browser, and cross-platform testing.
  • Knowledge in testing PHP-based web applications is a plus.
  • ​​Experience with tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, LambdaTest, and performance testing is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with modern testing techniques, including the use of AI, is a plus.
  • ISTQB certification required; Performance and Load testing experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication in English and Filipino; Japanese proficiency is an advantage.
  • Excellent relational skills in working with stakeholders and clients.
  • Experience working under Agile with Scrum, Agile with Kanban, Hybrid, or Waterfall models.
