Who you'll be working with:

You'll be responsible for the following:
  • Leading the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization's data governance framework, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
  • Developing, maintaining, and reviewing data governance policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring they are updated to reflect changing business needs and evolving data regulations.
  • Establishing and maintaining a structured, robust process for approving and disseminating data governance policies and standards.
  • Overseeing the establishment of data ownership and stewardship roles, ensuring accountability for data across the organization.
  • Maintaining and updating data owners and stewards lists, ensuring clear accountability for data quality and compliance across the organization.
We're looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree or equivalent is a plus).
  • At least 3-5 years of progressive experience in data management and governance practices, including expertise in metadata management, data quality management, and master data management.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data management and analysis. Familiarity with data governance practices and frameworks is essential. Experience with data governance tools, metadata management systems, data quality tools, and master data management solutions is a plus, with a preference for cloud-based data governance platforms.
  • Familiarity with global data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, PDPA) and a proven ability to implement compliant data governance practices.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP), Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), or other data governance certifications are a plus.
