Job Description

As a Full Stack Shopify Developer, you will support client-facing Shopify projects and internal MVP development, taking ownership of front-end builds, API integrations, and platform optimizations while contributing to new product innovation and scalable eCommerce solutions.

Job Overview

Employment type: Full-time

Shift: Night shift, Consecutive days off (with 1-2 hours overlap with US Eastern Time)

The Qualifications We Seek

• 3-5+ years of development experience
• Strong expertise in Shopify and Liquid
• Solid front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience with API development and integrations
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency using Git for version control

Strongly Preferred / Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with React, Angular, Vue, or other modern front-end frameworks
• Python experience (Django, Flask, or FastAPI)
• Exposure to AI-related development or API integrations
• AWS or GCP experience for basic deployments
• Experience working on greenfield builds

Your Daily Tasks

Client Shopify / eCommerce Work:

• Support and maintain Shopify sites, including one key client (~80 hours per month)
• Triage and resolve front-end and Liquid-related issues
• Implement theme updates, JavaScript features, and HTML/CSS enhancements
• Integrate third-party apps and APIs
• Optimize store performance and overall user experience

General Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot issues and identify root causes
• Work independently with minimal micromanagement
• Pair program with senior developers when needed
• Communicate progress clearly and proactively

Internal Product & MVP Development:

• Build internal web applications and MVPs using modern front-end frameworks
• Work with APIs to connect front-end and back-end services
• Collaborate on iterative R&D-style projects
• Assist in shaping architecture and greenfield builds
