Position Overview:

The Junior Data Analyst & Researcher will support the agency's strategy and creative teams by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform campaign decisions. This role is responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights, with market and audience research. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, curious, and eager to learn, with a strong interest in advertising, consumer insights, and data storytelling.

Key Responsibilities / Scope of Work:

Research

• Conduct competitive analysis, industry trend monitoring, and benchmarking studies.

• Perform audience and consumer behavior research using both primary and secondary sources.

• Leverage research platforms such as Global Web Index (GWI), Brandwatch, WARC, Nielsen, and other industry tools to provide insights on consumer behavior, digital trends, and brand sentiment.

• Track emerging media platforms and ad tech tools relevant to client industries.

• Provide actionable insights that support strategy, creative briefs, and media planning.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Collect, clean, and validate campaign performance data across platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, programmatic, etc.).

• Translate data into clear, actionable insights and visualizations for client and internal presentations.

Collaboration & Support

• Partner with strategy, media, and creative teams to align insights with campaign goals.

• Assist in preparing research-backed pitch decks, campaign recaps, and client presentations.

• Maintain documentation of research methodologies, data sources, and insights for internal knowledge-sharing.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Data Accuracy & Quality: accuracy in reports and dashboards.

• Timeliness: On-time delivery of research reports, dashboards, and insights within agreed deadlines.

• Research Output: Actionable insights generated through GWI, Brandwatch, WARC, or other research platforms.

• Relevance and quality of research incorporated into campaign strategies

Collaboration & Efficiency

• Usefulness and clarity of insights.

• On-time contribution to pitches, presentations, and reports.

• Growth & Initiative: Evidence of continuous upskilling in data analytics, research tools, and marketing/advertising knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications Research, IMC, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics or a related field.

• Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, consumer research, or analytics

• Fresh graduates are welcome; internship experience is an advantage.

• Exposure to advertising, media, or digital marketing industries is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights in a clear and compelling manner.

• Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced agency environment.

• Technical proficiency is an advantage, however, can be taught:

• Excel/Google Sheets for data manipulation and reporting.

• Familiarity with research and analytics platforms such as Global Web Index (GWI), Brandwatch, WARC, Nielsen, Google Analytics, or equivalent tools.
