Core responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading: Safely load and unload products from delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
  • Delivery assistance: Help the driver find delivery locations, and assist with the delivery of items to customers.
  • Customer service: Interact positively with customers, obtain signatures for received items, and sometimes collect payments.
  • Record keeping: Compile accurate delivery records and reports, and notify the main office of any changes or problems.
  • Logistics and communication: Relay delivery-related issues to the office or logistics team and liaise with the main office about any changes to the day's route.
