WHAT YOU'LL DO:
1. OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
Plan resource requirements on boarding of clients.
Plan resource requirements and monitor implementation/execution of client scope & engagements.
Validate and Ensures that the client's financial statements are prepared and presented in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards and includes reporting on tax disclosures.
Validate and Ensures that the client's tax returns, reports and correspondents are prepared and presented in accordance with tax ruling and regulations
Makes good judgments, delivers timely perception of root causes and provides effective solutions of issues encountered (IIAAs)
Attends internal Operations Committee meetings and presents required dashboards/reports
Prepares talent and loading capacity per account
Monitors productivity by ensuring client loading of team members are within targets
Identify the team's strengths and weaknesses/challenges in service delivery, and lead the improvement process in service delivery
Consistently seeks and delivers improvement and advancement in how one executes and achieves strong performance delivery.
Review the use of appropriate applications or tax technologies in the execution of the delivery system and monitor issues and concerns for continuous improvement and efficiency.
2. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
Oversees the work of Team and ensures that client engagements follow the prescribed service quality of the company
Supervises and reviews the work of the Team Leader/s
Mentoring and coaching team members (Team Leaders and Senior Associates)
Prepares monthly performance metrics set for Team Leaders and communicates consistently and timely with concerned talents and immediate head.
Reviews monthly performance metrics set for AAs and SAAs prepared by Team Leader
Participate in team recruitment, employee onboarding and development plans
Prepare and monitor development plans for team leaders and self
Monitors employee onboarding and offboarding
Effectively communicates goals and sets clear expectations
Evaluate and perform team member's performance evaluation
Review time charges of team leaders based on BOA or budgeted time
3.ACCOUNT/CLIENT MANAGEMENT
Ensures understanding and completeness of Client onboarding activities and implementation of Agreed Upon Procedures with clients
Ensures implementation and execution of Agreed Upon Procedures with clients
Ensures that monthly, quarterly and annual tax reporting and deadlines are properly set up and clearly defined with the team members and company team as well as with clients to ensure timely and accurate preparation of Financial and Tax Reports.
Reviews monthly, quarterly financial and tax accounting reports/dashboards before submission to client-partners
Lead account meetings with clients - tax and compliance reports and related analysis, if needed
Makes good judgments and discuss or delivers timely resolution and escalation of issues and concerns regarding service delivery
Develops good working relationship with internal and external partners that result in improvement and strong service delivery
Builds trust with clients and effectively identifies key opportunity areas that improve customer experience
Report and present at clients ManCom, ExeCom and Board meetings, if included in service engagement activities
Monitors and ensures timely collection of engagement fee based on the contract
Ensures Service Level Agreements or SLA and deliverables contracted with client-partner are executed properly and timely
Reviews and evaluates monthly performance metrics set in the engagement contract and communicate consistently and timely with client-partner
Fill up the Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) with the client .
Ensures completeness of Client offboarding activities and transition of Agreed Upon Procedures with clients
3. ENGAGEMENT MANAGEMENT
Prepares detailed tax accounting activities and time estimates for submission to Engagement Manager
4. BUSINESS/FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
Manage up to Annual Revenue Portfolio based on approved Annual Budget
5. OTHERS
Makes recommendation to improve the existing internal practices and procedures
Identifies and recommends updates to tax accounting processes and procedures.
Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by immediate head
Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
A graduate of BS Accountancy
Certified Public Accountant is a plus, but not required
Must be a Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in tax accounting and financial reporting with at least 2 years of Managerial experience
He/she will oversee the work of the Team leader/s and ensure that client engagements follow the prescribed service quality of the company
Exposure to different industries and clients.
Key skills requiredMust be well-versed in all accounting facets
Highly flexible, organize and can withstand pressure
Ability to quickly adjust to new work environments
Has the ability to ensure that engagements follow the prescribed service quality of the company.
Professional who is agile and adaptive to changes.
Open to different working arrangements – at the home, office, or even in our clients.
Must have excellent verbal and communication skills.
