This role combines software testing, process analysis, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure business needs are accurately translated into effective technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance (QA)

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Identify, document, and track defects using QA and issue-tracking tools
  • Validate software functionality across various environments and platforms
  • Ensure applications meet quality standards, requirements, and best practices
  • Prepare QA documentation, including test results and defect reports
  • Recommend improvements to enhance system performance and user experience

Business Analysis Support

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, workflows, and processes
  • Conduct stakeholder meetings to understand needs and translate them into technical specifications
  • Create user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and BRDs/FSDs
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and project teams to ensure proper implementation
  • Support UAT planning, coordination, and execution with stakeholders
  • Review existing processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and scalability
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a combined QA/BA role
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and best practices
  • Good understanding of business analysis methods and documentation standards
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with software development teams (Agile/Scrum experience is a plus)
  • QA or BA certifications are an advantage
  • Amenable to onsite to hybrid work setup
  • Available to start immediately (ASAP)
