Summary:

The objective of the program is to develop students into skilled accounting professionals who can contribute to the finance and accounting team. PBO Global is offering a remote Accounting Internship Program designed to provide practical, hands-on experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, and business processes. This internship is suitable for students or fresh graduates looking to gain real-world accounting experience in a corporate environment.

This program runs for 2 to 4 months in line with the on-the-job training requirements of your school or university.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the accounting team with day-to-day financial operations.
  • Recording and reconciling financial transactions using accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Assisting in preparing financial reports, statements, and summaries.
  • Conducting basic financial analysis and reporting.
  • Maintaining proper documentation and filing of financial records.
  • Supporting budgeting and expense monitoring activities.
  • Learning internal controls and compliance procedures.
  • Recording transactions and reconciling accounts.
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end financial closings.
  • Supporting payroll and billing processes.
  • Generating reports for management review.
  • Collaborating with the accounting team on audits and financial reviews.
  • Performing general administrative tasks to support the finance function.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Open to college, vocational, or senior high school graduates interested in gaining practical accounting experience.
  • Enrolled in or graduated from courses related to Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or ABM strand (for senior high school).
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working remotely.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage tasks independently.
