About the role

As the Business Licensing and Compliance Manager at OCIC Consulting Int'l. Inc.', you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's operations comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This full-time position is based in Makati City, Metro Manila and will involve overseeing the company's licensing and compliance efforts across its diverse range of business activities.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing, implementing, and maintaining robust compliance programs to identify, assess, and mitigate regulatory risks
  2. Reviewing and updating the company's policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure ongoing compliance
  3. Liaising with government agencies and authorities to obtain and renew necessary business licenses and permits
  4. Conducting regular audits and risk assessments to identify and address compliance issues
  5. Providing guidance and training to employees on compliance-related matters
  6. Staying up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices
  7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed a culture of compliance throughout the organization

What we're looking for

  1. 4 years of experience in a compliance or regulatory role, preferably with various industry
  2. Thorough understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards applicable to the company's operations
  3. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex compliance issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  5. Proven track record of developing and implementing effective compliance programs
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Bachelor's degree in law, business, or a related field
