Bookeeper/Accouting Assistant

The Bookkeeper is responsible for managing and recording the company's financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency. This role involves maintaining financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, and payments).
- Maintain and update general ledgers, journals, and accounting records.
- Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Process invoices, receipts, and vendor payments.
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Assist with payroll preparation and government contributions filing.
- Support internal and external audits by providing financial data.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, accounting principles, and company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information at all times.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- At least 1–3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Philippine taxation and regulatory compliance is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php20, Php23,000.00 per month
