Plumber Lead

JOB SUMMARY

The Plumber Lead oversees a group of plumbers. He/she is also responsible to perform, install and monitor all tasks generally done by a plumber like installing, inspecting, repairing pipes, and plumbing systems to avoid potential system failures.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent; Vocational or Technical schools with (TESDA) certified as NCII in Plumbing

Work Experience

At least 1-3 years' experience as a journeyman plumber

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

1. Supervise and monitor the work of Plumbers in accomplishing the pipe systems.

2. Able to read and analyze layout or blueprint of piping waterworks to assess strategies, Resources and material cost before commencing any plumbing activity.

3. Communicate and coordinate to the Foreman issues concerning Pipe Systems.

4. Plans schedule of works for the day and for the week. Must ensure the availability of materials needed are prepared.

5. Install piping, equipment, and other mechanical systems in compliance with construction drawings, sketches, and specifications.

6. Collaborates with contractors, construction workers, electricians, pipefitters, and steamfitters in installing and repairing plumbing.

7. Responsible for routine and repair maintenance such as leaking water pipelines, unclogging sanitary pipes, installing vents on septic vault, sanitary pipe layout, and installation for plumbing nature in work.

8. Testing and checking waterpipe system to ensure quality of work and avoid problems.

9. Ensuring constant adherence to construction codes and safety standards. Also, follow instruction from Foreman and Site Supervisor regardless if it's beyond welding related instructions as long as it is in accordance to construction progress.

10. Willing to be assigned at Calinan, Davao City.
