About the Role:

ZIA is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Dental Insurance Verification Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying insurance eligibility and ensuring accurate billing processes specifically for dental services. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify dental insurance eligibility and authorization with various insurance carriers.
  • Communicate with patients, caregivers, and insurance providers to obtain necessary information.
  • Update and maintain accurate patient insurance information in the practice management system (PMS).
  • Resolve insurance-related inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with dental insurance regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the billing and administrative teams to facilitate smooth operations.
Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience in dental billing or dental insurance verification.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Medicare Advantage plans as they relate to dental services is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Dental Practice Management Systems (PMS).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Confident English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
