Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Auditor at Converge ICT Solutions Inc. located in Pasig. The Senior Auditor will be responsible for conducting audits, preparing audit reports, analyzing financial data, assessing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • BS Accountancy, Internal Audit, or other related course graduate
  • CPA or CIA is an advantage
  • 2 to 3 years of meaningful experience in Internal or External Audit.

Purpose:

  • Responsible for planning and carrying out detailed audit programs, evaluating and reporting on results of testing as assigned by Audit Manager or Audit Supervisor in accordance with Audit Methodology.
  • Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls for assigned areas of projects/processes/units, in accordance with the Audit Methodology.

Areas of Responsibility:

Audit Planning:

  • For assigned sections of the audit, perform risk assessment of the areas/processes to be audited. Provide input for scope, extent, timing and work hours.
  • Assist Audit Supervisor with preparation of Detailed audit procedures (DAPs), sample selection, etc.
  • For assigned audit sections, review prior audit working papers, reports, and any other relevant information

Audit Execution:

  • Document understanding of the process/assigned section by performing a walkthrough of processes and controls and discussions with key process owners
  • Complete assigned work and document findings and working papers in accordance with Audit Manual
  • Evaluate and conclude on the design and operating effectiveness of the internal control framework related to assigned sections.
  • Keep the Audit Supervisor informed regarding the status of audits in progress, projected completion date
  • Maintain a time/expense summary for the assigned tasks/audit

Issue Identification:

  • Prepare draft audit issues
  • Review audit issues with Audit Supervisor and discuss issues with management as instructed by Audit Supervisor
  • Prepare issues for recording in issues log

Reporting/Communication:

  • Assist in preparation of draft audit report and ensure audit issues and reports are clear and concise

Other tasks:

  • Perform other procedures or administrative tasks as instructed or required by the Audit Manager or Audit Supervisor
