Job Objectives / Purpose

The Laboratory Technician collects samples as per schedule and according to procedures and specifications for the purpose of QC testing. He/she may also be instructed to conduct routine physical testing and prepare reagents and culture media under the guidance of a QC Analyst. He/she prepares necessary reports as may be required by the QC Supervisor or the QA/QC Manager.

Regular Duties (Task)

  1. Collects RM Samples for QC Testing.

  2. Prepares Approved/Rejected Stickers and QAD Form-031 (Notice of Disposition) based on the result of the evaluation of the RM.

  3. Ensures that appropriate stickers are placed on the RM and Notices are forwarded to the concerned departments.

  4. Records and safekeeps RM and FG retention samples.

  5. Prepares test solutions, media, standards, etc. according to test methods.

  6. Sterilizes culture media and glass wares used for microbial limits testing.

  7. Disinfects and disposes used culture media.

  8. Properly segregates used reagents and tested pharmaceutical products in designated waste containers, and transfers to the waste storage area.

  9. Conducts goods issue transaction of reagent and culture media usage in SAP.

  10. Performs physical inventory count of reagents and culture media.

  11. Performs physical Inventory count of glass wares.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php18, Php19,000.00 per month
