QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College Degree Holder, BS Mechanical Engineering or any related course
  • RME is a plus but not required
  • Strong understanding of green building codes and sustainability frameworks
  • Knowledge of ASHRAE standards, energy modeling tools (e.g., HAP, Trace 700, eQuest), and building commissioning
  • Can read and interpret and prepare draft layout for shop drawing plan
  • Work with minimum supervision
  • Can apply Project Management System
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 1–2 years in LEED-certified projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or related design software

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:

  • Design, evaluate, and implement energy-efficient mechanical systems (HVAC, ventilation) aligned with LEED requirements
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and sustainability consultants to achieve targeted LEED certification levels
  • Assist in preparing and submitting LEED documentation, particularly under Energy & Atmosphere and Indoor Environmental Quality credits
  • Monitor compliance during construction, ensuring LEED standards are met in equipment installation and operation
  • Support project commissioning and functional performance testing as required by LEED credits
  • Good communication (oral and written), public relations, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent MS Office skills.
  • With good judgement and decision-making capability..
  • Good Math skills and has a keen eye for details
