KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Conduct regular preventive maintenance on heavy equipment to minimize downtime.

· Perform troubleshooting, inspection, and diagnostic tests to identify mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues.

· Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems (e.g. engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems).

· Conduct overhauling and major repairs when necessary.

· Maintain service records and report maintenance activities and issues encountered.

· Ensure all equipment complies with company safety standards and manufacturer's specifications.

· Assist in mobilizing and demobilizing heavy equipment from project sites as needed.

· Coordinate with the Head Mechanic or Supervisor regarding required spare parts and maintenance schedules.

· Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Vocational or Technical Course in Automotive, Mechanical Technology, or related field (TESDA or equivalent certification preferred).
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems of heavy equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and technical diagrams.
  • Physical fitness to perform hands-on mechanical tasks.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

· Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.

· Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.

· Basic welding and fabrication skills (an advantage).

· Good communication and teamwork skills.

· Safety-conscious attitude.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: Php16, Php20,000.00 per month
