Job Summary:

The Company Nurse is responsible for promoting the health and safety of employees by providing first aid and medical care, managing workplace wellness programs, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. The nurse will also serve as the primary point of contact for health-related matters within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Health and Safety Management:
  • Provide first aid and emergency medical assistance to employees in case of accidents or medical issues during work hours.
  • Conduct health assessments and ensure employees' physical well-being while at the workplace.
  • Monitor employees with medical conditions and assist in managing work-related injuries or illnesses.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a healthy and safe working environment.
  • Employee Wellness Programs:
  • Plan, coordinate, and promote employee wellness initiatives (e.g., vaccination drives, health screenings, fitness programs).
  • Advise employees on healthy living practices, including proper nutrition, exercise, and stress management.
  • Maintain records of employee wellness programs and track participation and outcomes.
  • Medical Documentation & Reporting:
  • Keep accurate and confidential records of employee medical histories, illnesses, injuries, and treatments.
  • Prepare and submit regular health and safety reports to management, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual health reports and reviews.
  • Health Education & Training:
  • Conduct health and safety training for employees (e.g., proper ergonomic practices, emergency evacuation procedures, first-aid training).
  • Provide information and guidance to employees on medical benefits and insurance claims, as necessary.
  • Compliance with Legal and Company Standards:
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards and other regulatory health and safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR and safety teams to support occupational health programs.
  • Serve as a liaison with healthcare providers for work-related medical concerns and treatment referrals.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Administer and manage employee medical benefits and insurance claims.
  • Coordinate medical leave, sick leaves, and monitor absenteeism related to health issues.
  • Support other administrative tasks related to health and employee well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited university.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid PRC license.
  • Experience:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a clinical or corporate healthcare setting, preferably with experience in occupational health.
  • Prior experience in a corporate or industrial environment is a plus.
  • Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, first-aid protocols, and emergency response procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to remain calm and perform under pressure.
  • Proficiency in medical software, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and patient with employees.
  • Capable of managing sensitive and confidential medical information.

Job Type: Full-time
