Job Purpose:

The position will conduct planning, organization, delivery and support all facilities and building services for the different sites of Asurion in the Philippines. The role will ensure the efficient and effective provision of the Workplace Solutions services. The role has responsibility for the premises and facility needs in operation and maintenance and enhancement of all properties to the agreed organizational standards.

The position shall ensure that the Facilities (through the assistance of JLL), Environmental, Health and Site Services and Corporate Social Responsibility programs are properly managed. This includes planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring effectiveness of the programs and initiatives.

Key Accountabilities:

Critical Scope and Responsibilities

  • Leads the Site Facilities Operations, Projects Team and Building Maintenance team for all CS locations in the Philippines.

  • Reviews and analyses the daily operations report and provides actions to prevent potential risks on facilities operations.

  • Review and assess the daily operations and to ensure focus is maintained in our operation, encourage efficiency, reliability and maintainability of the site.

  • Review and assess the activities and programs related to facilities equipment operation and maintenance, projects and building maintenance with JLL for all CS locations in the Philippines

  • Identify and implement cost savings programs in support to departmental goals and objectives.

  • Monitors the JLL operation to ensure the good operational condition of all equipment and utility by implementing appropriate preventive and corrective maintenance measures to avoid disruption in all CS locations in the Philippines.

  • Review and assess the plan and implementation of work improvement methods by JLL for an efficient and effective site operation by identifying performance gaps and weakness on the current system.

  • Review the preventive and planned maintenance programs with JLL to minimize maintenance, repair and replacement costs together with minimizing the risk of failure.

  • Drive the continuous improvement of administrative activities involving facilities operation, financials and maintenance.

  • Ensures efficient utilization of company equipment, machinery and utilities to achieve cost and effective measures of usage to maximize company assets and capital.

  • Monitor the implementation of the comprehensive energy management program.

  • Manages refurbishment, renovations and office moves – and plans future development in line with strategic business objectives.

  • Ensures compliance to external regulations (PEZA, DOLE, DENR, PEZA, DOH, building code of the Philippines and Building Administration of each location)

  • Manages Facilities / Services Operating budget, vendor service contracts, RFP process, operational support engagement on a regular basis for seamless operations, and project works.

  • Leads, organize and ensure effectiveness of Health, Environmental and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programs

  • Monitors and ensure effectiveness of all Health-related programs and initiatives activities to promote health and wellness.

  • Plans and implements environmental requirement and various projects including drive Sustainability Programs

  • Oversee the planning and implementation of various sports and wellness activities.

  • Oversee and ensure effectiveness of the services of clinic services, canteen concessionaire services, and fleet/shuttle services.

  • Be the POC for all the CS operations in the Philippines

  • Acquire the business and operations knowledge on the Supply Chain operation in the Philippines in order to support the TCP site in the future.

  • Act as the overall POC for Workplace Solutions PHL in the absence of the WS lead in the Philippines

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or Facilities management course

Experience, Skillsets, & Personal Competencies:

  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the manufacturing, call center/BPO and traditional offices facilities operation

  • Facilities Management

  • Interpersonal skills with strong client focus

  • Technical comprehension and experience with performance-based contracts and vendor management

  • Knowledge of occupation safety requirement
