About the Role:

 This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with financial regulations, accurate and timely reporting, and alignment between site-level and head office accounting practices. The ideal candidate is proactive, hands-on, and experienced in managing finance teams within a fast-paced or manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the day-to-day accounting and finance operations of the Cavite site.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end financial closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure tax compliance and support both internal and external audit requirements.
  • Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, disbursements, and payroll allocations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the local finance team, including training and performance management.
  • Coordinate with head office to ensure alignment in financial reporting and workflows.
  • Contribute to financial planning, budgeting, cost control, and cash flow management activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accountancy or Finance; CPA is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a minimum of 12 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and audit practices.
  • Experience in manufacturing or production-related accounting is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and influence finance teams.
