Job Description:

  • Conduct legal research and applicable laws and jurisprudence on various issues concerning the business of the company.
  • Draft necessary pleadings concerning the toll operations and other business matters.
  • Attend various meetings with various government offices and to advocate on behalf of the company to said government agencies and other organizations.
  • Draft and/or contracts and agreements and monitor legal obligations under agreements to ensure compliance.
  • Identify potential legal and regulatory issues that may pose a risk, in order to negate or mitigate any liability against the company.
  • Performs other duties assigned from time to time.

Job Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Law or a closely related field.
  • Four (4) to five (5) years of working experience working in a corporate legal capacity within a fast-paced, fast-evolving and dynamic environment, or related experience preferred with more than 3 years supervisory experience.
  • Must have successful experience leading negotiations on complex, high value, contracts, and agreements. Experience in litigation is an advantage.
  • Must be a Philippine Bar Exam Passer.
  • Specialized knowledge: Must have excellent knowledge and understanding of Philippine laws and jurisprudence.
