DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creates and reviews Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders, and responsible in analyzing data to determine the latest marketing trends.
  • Strategically monitor, replenishment, and maintain inventory with sufficient days/weeks supply to carry.
  • Initiate cost savings and improvement programs to help drive cost efficiency.

  • Proposes initial order forecast for review.
  • Acquires Strong Communication and Negotiation skills with potential and existing vendors.
  • Maintains good relationship and partnership with vendors in maintaining target goals.
  • Generate and provide accurate reports on product performance and statistics.
  • Assists on costing and pricing strategy in Restaurant for review of the Category Manager.
  • Triggers cost and pricing implementation in the system to be verified and approved by the Category Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance,
  • Accountancy, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent.
  • Candidate must be proficient in MS Office programs and retail systems.
  • Candidate must have a background in procurement/buying for HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes) or the F&B service industry.
  • Knowledge on Wines, Liquor, and Deli is a plus.
  • Knowledge on food or fresh merchandising is a plus.
  • With 1-3 years of experience specializing in Merchandising, Buying, Inventory Management, Category Management, or equivalent
