About the role

Equicom Solutions Inc is seeking a driven and experienced Financial Statement Manager to join our dynamic team in our Makati City, Metro Manila office. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in overseeing the preparation and analysis of the company's financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
  2. Analyse financial data and provide insightful recommendations to senior management
  3. Ensure the company's accounting practices adhere to relevant financial reporting standards and regulations
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  5. Supervise and mentor junior members of the finance team
  6. Participate in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
  7. Contribute to the company's overall financial strategy and decision-making

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  2. CPA or equivalent professional qualification
  3. Minimum 5 years of experience in financial statement preparation and analysis, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role
  4. Proven track record of ensuring financial reporting compliance and implementing process improvements
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Ability to work effectively in a team and mentor junior team members
  8. Proficient in using financial software and spreadsheet applications
