JOB PURPOSE

Performing loan processing tasks. These job tasks range from basic to complex. They cover requirements associated with the end to end processing of a loan.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The jobs support processing undertaken in the following Firstmac Brisbane departments (Sales, Credit, Loan Processing, Loan Servicing, Loan Administration, Construction, Discharges, Payment, Accounts)
  • Deliver optimum customer satisfaction for all inbound and outbound contacts.
  • Ensure all quality issues identified (procedural or technical) are logged and reported for follow up and resolution. It is important to always identify the root cause of a quality issue and ensure that action is being taken to prevent repetition.
  • Identify improvements from daily processing and actively provide feedback and recommendations to improve the process.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Administration/Management or equivalent.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Graduating students this Q3-Q4 2025 may be accommodated
  • Experienced Loan Processors must have 3–5 years of experience in Australian mortgage operations, with strong exposure to Settlements, Discharges, Construction Loans, and Builder-related processes.
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end mortgage workflows, including lender requirements, documentation, timelines, and platforms like PEXA; experience working with builders, brokers, or aggregators is a plus
  • Familiarity with loan origination platforms and documentation standards
  • Must be able to adhere to schedule changes based on department and/or business needs.
  • Must be an energetic self-starter with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi task.
  • Ability to continually display positive attitude.
  • No work experience required.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Ortigas Center, Pasig.
