Key Responsibilities
  • System Development: Design, develop, and deploy highly available, performant server-side logic and RESTful/GraphQL APIs. Develop robust, scalable microservices or monolithic applications using modern programming languages.
  • Data Architecture: Architect and optimize database schemas and data access layers for complex patient and operational data.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement all necessary security measures, encryption, and authorization protocols to meet HIPAA and other regulatory requirements. Conduct code reviews focused on security best practices.
  • Operations & Reliability: Work with DevOps to deploy, monitor, and maintain services in a cloud environment (AWS/Azure/GCP). Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure service reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: 3+ years of professional experience building and maintaining production-level web services.
  • Programming Mastery: Expert proficiency in one or more back-end languages (e.g., Python, Java, , Go, or C#).
  • Database Expertise: Deep experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL), including performance tuning and complex query optimization.
  • Architecture & APIs: Strong understanding of API design (REST, GraphQL), microservices, and message queues. Working knowledge of Go is a plus.
  • Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Security Focus: Demonstrated expertise in secure coding, authentication/authorization (OAuth 2.0, JWT), and knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
