Job Description:

We are looking for a Junior Medical Physicist to join our Radiation Oncology Department in Bay, Laguna. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in radiation safety, equipment calibration, and treatment planning, with strong analytical and communication skills. Staff house provided.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of or currently taking MS in Medical Physics
  • With at least 1 year clinical experience
  • Completed Radiation Safety Refresher Course or has Radiation Protection units
  • Knowledgeable in Radiation Oncology procedures, CT planning, and radiobiology
  • Skilled in treatment planning, dose calculations, QA, and radiation safety
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications and dosimetry tools
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willing to relocate to Bay, Laguna
  • Can start immediately
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in radiation treatment planning and verification
  • Conduct equipment calibration and implement QA programs
  • Monitor radiation exposure and ensure compliance with safety protocols
  • Work with radiation oncologists in treatment plan development
  • Maintain documentation and support clinical trials and research
  • Oversee brachytherapy source handling and shielding design
  • Participate in radiation safety and medical physics committees
  • Provide first-level maintenance support for treatment machines
  • Comply with hospital policies and work across departments as needed
