Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Engineer to join our growing analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand data needs, transform raw data into meaningful insights, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models that deliver actionable insights.
  • Connect to various data sources, clean and transform data using Power Query, DAX, and SQL.
  • Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
  • Optimize performance of BI reports and dashboards for usability and speed.
  • Maintain and improve existing Power BI solutions and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Stay current with Power BI best practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Implement data governance and security policies across BI reports and datasets.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Power BI in a professional environment.
  • Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
  • Experience in performance tuning and report optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Azure data services (e.g., Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse).
  • Familiarity with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Microsoft Power BI certification is a plus.
