Accounting Manager – Accounts Receivable

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable team, including billing, collections, and reconciliation processes.

  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing to clients and customers.

  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure prompt collections.

  • Establish and maintain effective credit policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.

  • Maintain accurate records of receivables and collections in the ERP or accounting system.

  • Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, cash flow forecasts, and collection performance.

  • Implement and improve receivables processes to enhance efficiency and reduce overdue receivables.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and legal requirements.

  • Lead and develop the accounts receivable team, providing training and performance feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.

  • Proven experience (at least 3 years) in accounts receivable management or a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and ERP systems.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

  • Knowledge of credit management and collection strategies.
