I. BROAD FUNCTIONS

Perform tasks related to Lighting Design

II. KEY RESULT AREAS

  1. Assists the Group Head in managing the timeliness/efficiency/accuracy of the deliverables of the group.

  2. Prepares and organizes technical lighting data (with Group Head direction and/or supervision).

  3. Prepares lighting specifications (with Group Head direction and/or supervision).

  4. Calculates lighting parameters using Dialux and other lighting calculation software.

  5. Prepares design based on code/standard set (with Group Head direction and/or supervision).

  6. Checks and evaluates technical cut sheets before submission (with Group Head direction and/or supervision).

  7. Coordinates design to all team members and presents to client when necessary.

  8. Communicates with partner firms and coordinates approved light and system to be implemented (with Group Head direction and/or supervision).

  9. Observes and ensures that schedule and design is strictly followed and implemented.

  10. Ensures that project is managed and implemented according to client approved design.

  11. Calculates cost and project timeline for each design prepared (with Group Head direction and/or supervision).

  12. Participates in the concept planning, development and design.

  13. Searches for code/standard required, catalogues and acquires samples for available lighting fixture required (with Group Head direction and/or supervision).

  14. Researches for up to date lux level standards (with Group Head direction and/or supervision).

  15. Assist in preparing lighting lay-out drawing using Computer Aided Design (CAD), only when needed.

  16. Performs all other functions necessary in the achievement of goals and objectives of the Department

Officers and staffs of PL Light.

Clients, some suppliers, and other company visitors.

IV. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION

A. Education

Graduate of BS Architecture or BS Interior Design.

B. Work Experience

With knowledge in Interior Design, Architecture or Project Management.
