Job Description

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you'll design, develop, and deploy complex software solutions while mentoring junior developers. You'll create new features, optimize systems for performance, and ensure top-tier code quality that meets global standards in technology and innovation.

The Qualifications We Seek

• Relevant tertiary qualification at degree level or higher, or Microsoft Certification
• Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment
• Experience developing solutions for Cloud/SaaS web environments
• Proficiency in writing clean and performant code that is quick and robust
• Proficiency with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue, React, Angular)
• Experience working with a Cloud service provider (preferably Azure) and proficiency in a modern programming language (e.g., C#, Java, JavaScript)
• Application of best practices and patterns in software development (e.g., S.O.L.I.D., Y.A.G.N.I.)

Your Daily Tasks

Development:

• Create implementation plans for new features
• Write and maintain code according to system requirements and technical specifications, ensuring quality standards are met
• Develop detailed system and technical design specifications and documentation for new features
• Identify technology limitations in current applications and propose alternative solutions
• Lead discussions on new feature development and bug resolutions

Testing & Debugging:

• Diagnose and correct complex production issues
• Direct system testing and validation procedures
• Develop and implement automated test strategies
• Conduct testing to ensure all work adheres to quality standards

Training:

• Research and explore new technologies
• Engage in peer programming with senior developers
• Set personal growth goals for continuous learning

Mentorship:

• Mentor junior developers within the squad
• Provide code reviews and guidance for improvement
• Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and technical workshops

Research & Analysis:

• Research and assess system requirements
• Investigate new technologies to enhance software functionality
• Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of external services
• Consult with the Architecture Chapter to establish standards for new technologies
