What You'll Be Doing

  1. Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  2. Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and training programs
  3. Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective actions
  4. Collaborate with project managers and team members to integrate safety considerations into all aspects of the construction process
  5. Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  6. Provide guidance and support to project teams on safety-related matters
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety activities

What We're Looking For

  1. Thorough knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
  2. Proficiency in conducting risk assessments, developing safety plans, and implementing safety training programs
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with all levels of the organisation
  4. Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to identify and address safety issues
  5. Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills
  6. Relevant certifications or training in occupational health and safety.
