Oversees the operations of a coconut oil mill, including production, efficiency, quality control, and team management to ensure the plant meets its goals and commercial success. This role involves monitoring the entire coconut oil extraction and refining process, managing key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensuring compliance with safety standards and other requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations: Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the plant.
  • Production Management: Plan and monitor production to ensure smooth, cost-effective, and timely output.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the final coconut oil product meets customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards.
  • Efficiency & Throughput: Maximize equipment utilization and operational efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate production teams to achieve manufacturing goals.
  • Compliance: Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs and implement corrective actions to meet production targets.
  • Process Monitoring: Oversee all stages of the coconut oil extraction and refining process.

Skills and Qualities

  • Strong understanding of operations management and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to monitor processes, track KPIs, and manage resources effectively.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance systems.
  • Experience in the food manufacturing or coconut oil industry.
  • Preferably Chemical Engineering graduate.
