Position Summary & Key ResponsibilitiesThe Retail Solutions SW Test Engineer is responsible for automating tests and ensuring software delivery conforms to user and business specifications for retail products in the Japanese market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Automate regression suites using Selenium, JMeter, C#, Java, SQL.Modify test systems for implementation readiness. Investigate customer-reported issues. Communicate with customer support teams.

Provide technical support during software installation and configuration. Monitor bug resolution efforts and track outcomes.Identify deviations from standards and suggest modifications. Provide feedback to developers on usability and functionality.

Plan test schedules and strategies aligned with project timelines. Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures. Proficiency in SQL Server, understanding complex queries, SQL Profiler, Reporting Services, and Management Studio.

Participate in product design reviews. Review software documentation for accuracy and completeness. Develop standards and procedures to assess product quality and release readiness.

Experience in developing and executing automated tests. Japanese language skills are preferable. Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

At least 3 years of relevant experience. Minimum 1 year of experience in an Agile environment. Automation experience required.

Experience setting up and troubleshooting test hardware. Experience with test management tools like Quality Center or Practitest. Knowledge of SQL, C#, Java, JMeter, Selenium is advantageous.

Ability to follow complex instructions and achieve results. Professional certifications are a plus. Ability to create and execute manual test scripts.

Knowledge of development methodologies. Strong project management and communication skills. Analytical skills and problem-solving methodologies.

Willingness to learn new technologies. Team-oriented and goal-driven. Offers are conditional upon passing screening criteria.
