Role And Responsibilities

Replication of Existing Reports

  • Convert current manually prepared reports into automated Power BI dashboards.
  • Ensure real-time accessibility of critical business reports.
  • Validate data accuracy and consistency with existing reporting structures.

Development of New Reports

  • Work closely with the Supagas governance body to understand reporting needs, priorities and develop new dashboards accordingly.
  • Create interactive and dynamic reports tailored to various business units.
  • Ensure alignment with business objectives and data visualization best practices.

Data Management and Integration

  • Connect Power BI reports with multiple data sources, including Pronto and other relevant platforms.
  • Optimize data models for performance efficiency.
  • Maintain data governance standards and implement access control measures.

Continuous Improvement and Support

  • Monitor and enhance the functionality of existing Power BI reports.
  • Provide user training and support to internal teams on Power BI functionalities.
  • Stay updated with new Power BI features and recommend improvements accordingly.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar field is preferred
  • Advanced Power BI skills is a must
  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software packages particularly Excel application

Preferred Skills

  • Strong excel skills required - must be able to navigate and edit workbooks and able to perform reconciliations in excel.
