We're looking for a talented, creative, and reliable video editor to join our growing YouTube channel focused on financial scandals, fraud, and true crime stories.
Our goal is to turn powerful scripts into visually captivating, high-retention videos that keep audiences watching from beginning to end. If you're passionate about storytelling, love true crime or finance content, and want to be part of a dedicated team building something long-term — we'd love to hear from you.
???? What We're Looking For:
Video Length: 8–10 minutes per video
Style: Inspired by channels like ColdFusion and MagnatesMedia
Tone: Dramatic, clean, informative, and cinematic — no on-camera footage
Content: Financial crime, scandals, Ponzi schemes, corrupt CEOs, and beyond
Format: Fully faceless (voiceover narration + visuals + text + sound design)
???? Your Role:
Turn provided scripts (and voiceovers) into polished YouTube-ready videos
Source relevant stock footage, images, archival news clips, and graphics
Add well-timed text overlays, subtle motion effects, and transitions
Use cinematic music and sound design to heighten drama and tension
Work independently while meeting deadlines and quality expectations
Collaborate with a small, supportive team
????? Voiceover Process:
You'll have two options for each video:
Use ElevenLabs (voice: Average Alan) to generate the voiceover yourself
Receive the voiceover files from us (already recorded and ready to go)
This flexibility allows you to work in the way that best suits your editing workflow.
???? Trial Task:
To assess fit and editing style, we ask all shortlisted applicants to complete a paid trial task, editing one script into a full 8–10 minute video. If it's a great fit, you'll be offered consistent long-term work.
