Physical Therapist

Purpose of Job: To execute proper physical therapy assessment and develop a plan using treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.

Principal Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Deliver high standards of care by thoroughly assessing the patient conditions (ie. observation, subjective, examinations, etc.) and then developing an individualized treatment plan.
• Executing integrated pain management strategy and plan from acute pain to maintenance / wellness care.
• Maintain complete and accurate SOAP records per patient to monitor the patient's progress and changes in their treatment plan when appropriate.
• Educate patients on their conditions, signs & symptoms, and explain their treatments to keep a high compliance rate to their treatment plan.
• Educate patients and give advice on proper self-care and home care options for pain management.
• Provide stretching and exercises to patients for in-clinic and for home care.
• Provide manual therapy to patients such as myofascial release, massage, joint mobilization to help improve.
• Consult with Dr. Cancio / co-workers to discuss various conditions and treatment options when unsure and as needed.
• Proper use of modality equipment, machines, and ensure its maintenance to protect the equipment.
• Maintain continuing education through self-study, or by attending workshops.
• Assist in other areas of the clinic outside of patient care (ex. front desk, filing, inventory management, general cleaning, answering calls, inquiries, etc.)
• Training of new hires when deemed necessary.
• Encourages patients to undergo rehab program
• Texts patients for follow-up or post treatment care
• Researches seminars
• Monitors and updates Clinic Retail Inventory when applicable
• Monitors daily setup of treatment rooms (Towels, Gowns, EMS Pads,EMS wires, Drawers, etc.)
• Monitors EMS Pads /Wires if its working properly
• Monitors and update PT inventory (Medical equipment and supplies)
• Reports damaged equipment immediately
• Reports depleted supplies
• Conducts PT training
• Updates Rehab Database Daily/Monthly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
