A Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring that our products are properly displayed, stocked, and promoted in retail stores, driving customer engagement and sales. You will work closely with store personnel, suppliers, and sales teams to execute merchandising strategies and maintain the product's visibility on the sales floor.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Display and Organization:

  • Ensure products are displayed according to visual merchandising standards and promotional guidelines.
  • Arrange products neatly on shelves, ensuring proper stock rotation and that expiration dates are adhered to (if applicable).

Stock Management:

  • Monitor stock levels and replenish products as needed.
  • Ensure that products are consistently available on the sales floor, avoiding out-of-stock situations.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in stock audits.

Promotions and Campaigns:

  • Set up promotional displays and seasonal setups to boost sales and attract customer attention.
  • Ensure that marketing materials (posters, banners, etc.) are properly installed and updated according to current campaigns.

Customer Engagement:

  • Provide product knowledge and assist customers with their product inquiries.
  • Maintain a positive in-store presence and engage with customers to promote the brand.

Coordination with Store Staff and Suppliers:

  • Work closely with retail store managers and staff to ensure that product displays are maintained.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues regarding product availability.

Market Trends and Competitor Monitoring:

  • Observe competitor activities and report trends or promotions that may impact sales.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and customer preferences.

Reporting:

  • Regularly report on stock levels, product performance, and the effectiveness of in-store promotions to the sales or marketing manager.
