Technical Services Engineer

Job Purpose:

The role is responsible for providing technical and engineering support across all Isla LPG plants nationwide to ensure operational efficiency, asset integrity, and safety compliance. This position plays a key role in developing and implementing maintenance programs, supporting project execution, conducting safety audits, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The objective is to maintain reliable and safe plant operations by overseeing equipment performance, managing upgrades, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in engineering and HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment).

Responsibilities:

• Provides technical and engineering support to Isla Plants nationwide.
• Establish Asset Integrity Management Programs for LPG plants.
• Recommends maintenance and justifies upgrade as needed.
• Assist on post-implementation review on completed projects.
• Assists the team on engineering activities on joint operation initiatives with other 3rd parties, as needed.
• Sets up plant maintenance database, institutes, and manages program to ensure equipment reliability and dependability.
• Monitors & identifies equipment for upgrade to operate all plants efficiently & safely.
• Coordinates and liaises with other departments for the maintenance needs of the plants.
• Ensures compliance to HSSE or other local government requirements for all projects.
• Actively participates in technical and engineering projects on development, strategy, and implementation.
• Prepares detailed cost estimates of LPG projects.
• Ensures projects are implemented within budget cost and schedule.
• Conducts compliance check and safety audits on LPG Filling plant and initiates corrective action.
• Coordinates w/ Procurement and suppliers on sourcing of LPG equipment and appurtenances.
• Responds promptly to emergency calls.
• Supports HSSE Programs such as iSafe Audits and Trainings.
• Supports developing government standards on LPG (i.e. DOE, DOLE)
• Prepares and implements safety program of the department.
• Assesses safety performance of project contractors.
• Collaborate with plant managers and contractors on all the maintenance activities and projects.

Qualifications

• Preferably a licensed Mechanical Engineer
• At least 3+ years of experience in plant operations and maintenance
• Familiarity with LPG Plant processes and equipment
• Experience in Preventive, Predictive, and Corrective Maintenance of Plant Facilities
• Willingness to travel to Visayas and Mindanao, as the role covers Plant and Depot Operations nationwide
