  • Renders assistance to customers in finding what they are looking for and interest them in buying the merchandise to generate sales.
  • Describes to customers a product's features, demonstrates it use, or show various models, sizes, and colors.
  • Does suggestive selling.
  • Attends immediately to customer concerns/complaints and escalates concerns beyond personal capacity to immediate superior for proper action.
  • Handles returns and exchanges of merchandise with the approval of the Department Supervisor.
  • Monitors security risks and thefts of merchandise and handles or prevents such situations.
  • Promotes special sales and promotional activities.
  • Provides feedbacks to the immediate superior customer product demands.
  • Monitors and ensures racks/ shelves/ showcases are fully, completely and properly arranged/ displayed in line with the established department standards.
  • Monitors and ensures all items are tagged accordingly.
  • Ensures the timely updating of price tags.
  • Closely monitors expiry dates of items (for items with expiration) and ensures none are displayed.
  • Keeps the assigned area clean. Ensures that racks, showcases, shelves and merchandise are free from dusts and dirt.
  • Ensures the consistent implementation of department standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Assists other areas/ departments of the store when required.
  • Makes timely reports to superiors on any irregularities or disciplinary concerns on area of responsibility.
  • Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes.
  • Performs other tasks as may be assigned from time to time by superiors.
