What You'll Do

As the primary contact for Empower, you'll oversee the smooth and successful installation of standard and non-complex new transfer or start-up retirement plan sales. In this role, you will:

  • Lead weekly conference calls for assigned sales and collaborate closely with plan sponsors, financial advisors, third-party administrators, client service managers, regional sales directors, prior providers, payroll vendors, and internal teams.
  • Manage all aspects of project timelines, outstanding items, and key deliverables to ensure successful plan implementation.
  • Discuss and clarify service agreements, contracts, and product features with plan sponsors, advisors, and administrators to confirm suitability and understanding of administrative responsibilities.
  • Review plan provisions for clients utilizing internal compliance services to ensure accurate restatement of plan documents.
  • Coordinate payroll integration and mapping processes between plan sponsors and Empower systems.
  • Facilitate the transfer of plan assets and records through clear and professional written and verbal communication with prior providers and internal departments.
  • Meet established internal deadlines and maintain adherence to procedural timelines for all plan transfers and start-ups.
  • Deliver high-quality results through rigorous quality assurance and adherence to established procedures designed to minimize market risks or gain/loss situations.
  • Manage the seamless transition of plans from blackout release to ongoing client service management.
  • Work extended hours or overtime during peak periods to meet client needs.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred
  • 1–2 years of implementation or related experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional time management skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Availability to work overnight hours

What Sets You Apart

  • Working knowledge of IRS codes 401(k), 403(b), 401(a), and 457(b)
  • Familiarity with IRS and DOL reporting requirements
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance and plan document administration
