Qualifications:

  • With Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or a related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting functions or related areas.
  • With experience in recording purchases, expenses, and processing invoices.
  • Strong knowledge of invoice posting, cash disbursement, and general accounting procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions for data analysis and reporting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepares financial statements to be submitted to Management.
  • Review all journal entries created by payable and receivable assistant in accounting software supported by required documents.
  • Verify journal entries created by accounting payable assistant.
  • Check customer's entries and its supporting documents.
  • Ensure the accuracy of sales and purchases summary in preparation of VAT payment.
  • Reconciliation of accounts from the subsidiary ledger to general ledger account.
  • Create and review journal related Asset depreciation, monthly amortization, closing of other receivables advances and FOREX valuation.
  • Perform and lead physical asset count and reporting to result to the management.
  • Assist or support other department for the accounts to be used for their respective transaction.
  • Provision of requested reports of superior.
  • Support AP accounting assistant in filling and official receipt collection.
  • Performs other duties that maybe assigned from time to time by immediate superior.
  • Perform actual verses budget or forecast variances and generate variances report for the management.
  • Assist the management team in preparing the monthly or annually financial forecasts or budgets.
  • Support on bank to book reconciliation.
  • Validates in actual and records deposits in the system intended for non-trade transactions.
