About The Role
As a
Senior Performance Engineer
, you will lead performance testing initiatives, identify system bottlenecks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance user experience and system efficiency. You will ensure the optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of Perpetual's digital platforms and applications. Along the way, you will get to:

• Design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies across web and backend systems.
• Analyze performance test results and provide actionable insights to development and infrastructure teams.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in applications, databases, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with software engineers, DevOps, and QA teams to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain performance testing scripts and tools using industry standard frameworks.
• Monitor production systems for performance issues and proactively recommend improvements.
• Document performance benchmarks, test plans, and results for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers on performance engineering best practices

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 7–8 years of experience in performance engineering or software
• development with a focus on system performance.
• Proven experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, cloud infrastructure (ideally Azure).
• Experience with profiling tools and techniques for identifying performance issues in .NET applications.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Datadog, or Prometheus.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests into automated workflows
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to performance optimization.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
